Hommage to Anita Neugebauer
photo basel dedicates a curated special exhibition to Switzerland’s first galerist and fine art photography dealer and pioneer Anita Neugebauer.
Anita Neugebauer (1916-2012) founded Switzerland's first photo gallery in 1976 and devoted herself to the mediation of international and national photography. With her gallery, exhibition and collecting activities, she became an important pioneer for the continuing development of photography in Switzerland. With the exhibition Anita's Point of View, photo basel is dedicating a homage to the person who has done so much for Swiss photography.

Since the beginning of the armed conflict in Ukraine, our thoughts are with all the human beings that suffer from its consequences. As a platform, we not only want to pro- mote peace, but we also want to help those who need to be supported. Over the past few years, we became friends with artists and gallerists from Ukraine and that is why we dedicate this photo basel x benefit edition to them.
Each print is available in an edition of 10 – signed, numbered and printed on a 305g Hahnemühle paper.

CAP Prize – Contemporary African Photography Prize – Winners Announcement
The CAP Prize is the international Prize for Contemporary African Photography awarded annually since 2012 to five photographers whose works were created on the African continent, or which engage with the African diaspora. 2022 sees its 11th edition. The winners will be announced on Friday June 17th at photo basel.

The innovative Rinspeed sQuba 3D NFT on-off will be available - together with a buying option for the 26 unique vehicles of the «The Rinspeed Collection» - on a well-known auction platform in the summer.
