SIYU Award

After 26 years of success as the vfg Young Talent Award for Photography, we are delighted to announce that the well-known award for young Swiss photographers will continue after a two-year break - under the new name SIYU AWARD.

The award focusses on the promotion of young photography talent, the support of innovative photographic work and the creation of a platform and network for up-and-coming artists. 

The tenth finalists of the SIYU award will be announced at photo basel on 21st of June 2025.

But it remains exciting, because ‘only’ at the vernissage on 16 October 2025 in the Photobastei Zurich will the winner of the first SIYU AWARD, endowed with CHF 3000, be presented.
